Forza Horizon 5 is a brand new installment to the Forza Horizon series that serves up a vast new collection of cars, loads of ways to customize them, and endless activities and game modes that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

In the newest Forza Horizon iteration, players travel to a fictional region of Mexico that's filled with beautiful sights and things to do. The new and exciting open world map features plenty of cities and towns to explore which are surrounded by rural countrysides, wooded areas, jungles, mountainous regions, and even a desert. Also included in this fresh addition to the Horizon series is the return of an interesting feature called 'dynamic weather.' Dynamic weather is a system that enables randomized weather which all players can experience simultaneously.

Gameplay

In Forza Horizon 5, you take on the role of a 'superstar' racer; someone who has arrived in Mexico to race against other skilled drivers, explore the region, win cars and cash, and seek popularity and fame. The game features a content-rich story, along with loads of races and other side activities that are sprinkled across the map in free roam.

As you continue completing story missions and other world side objectives, you accumulate cars and credits (abbreviated to CR in-game). Credits are essentially the primary type of currency in Forza Horizon 5, and they are used to buy new cars, player houses, car tunes, and even clothing.

When customizing a vehicle for the first time, it will become incredibly obvious that vehicle tuning is one of Forza's strongest points. Because of how complex the customization is for each car, the possibilities are truly endless. After achieving that perfect tune for your new ride, you can create your very own paint job to personalize your new car, or you can choose premade paint jobs uploaded by other members of the Forza community.

Game Modes

In traditional Horizon fashion, Forza Horizon 5 brings another expansive collection of activities and game modes that will keep your pedal to the metal for hours. Race around and hang out with other players in free mode, or partake in standalone, instanced activities around the map that include classic races, challenges, player-created content, various events, and more.

Cars, Cars, and More Cars

New and returning players will be impressed by the enormous selection of cars, which currently is estimated to be over 500 in number. With such an extensive collection, you'll surely find plenty of cars that seamlessly fit with your racing style. Forza Horizon 5 covers virtually any car type you can think of, ranging from vintage and classic cars to exotics and supercars.

Technical Information

Forza Horizon 5 is a beautiful game from a graphical standpoint, and it is optimized relatively well for a wide range of computer hardware. Forza Horizon 5 is designed to run on specs that are equivalent to or better than an Intel i5 4460 or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, an Nvidia GTX 970 or an AMD RX 470 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 110GB of free drive storage.
